Essex Police are continuing their investigation into yesterday’s horror crash in East Mersea.
Seven bus passengers were seriously hurt when a steam engine came off the back of a low loader lorry and onto the vehicle.
The bus driver, a 44 year old man from Colchester, remains in a life-threatening condition in hospital after being airlifted to the Royal London.
The 51 year-old lorry driver, from Great Yarmouth, has been arrested.

Numbers on the bus, the No 67, have been confirmed as 35.
The driver of the bus is a 44-year-old man from the Colchester area who is at the Royal London Hospital in a life-threatening condition.
Six people suffered serious injuries and are at hospital.
