A woman has died following a collision involving three vehicles which happened on the A131 between Chelmsford and Great Leighs.
The collision – which involved a red Ford Focus, an orange BMW Z4 and a brown Honda Jazz – happened just after 8.10pm last night, Monday, October 12, on the A131 at the junction of Scurvy Hall Lane.
A woman in her 70s driving the Focus had to be released from her vehicle by Essex County Fire and Rescue Service and was taken by ambulance to Broomfield Hospital where she sadly later died.
