Police have named an Essex man involved in a fatal collision near Melbourn on Saturday afternoon (January 30).
The collision between a black Kawasaki motorcycle and a silver Citroen Xsara Picasso happened at about 3.30pm at a roundabout on the A10 between Melbourn and Royston in Cambridgeshire.
The rider of the motorcycle, 75-year-old Anthony Taylor, of Deer Park Way in Waltham Abbey, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the Picasso, a 44-year-old woman from London, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. She has been bailed to return to Parkside Police Station in Cambridge on July 28.
Police are appealling for witnesses and are particularly keen to trace a small red car which was travelling behind two motorcycles on the A10 around the time of the collision.
Anyone with information should call the road policing unit on 101.
