Workers at Europe’s largest construction project – Crossrail – will get a visit from the Queen in central London today.
Her Majesty will head deep underground to see the Bond Street site’s ticket hall, platforms and tunnels.
The Mayor of London Boris Johnson and Transport Secretary Patrick McLoughlin will also be there.
Prince Charles visited the site in 2013.
The 73-mile railway will link parts of Berkshire and Buckinghamshire to Essex, via central London.
