Plans for hospitals in Essex to work more closely together are gathering pace.
Health bosses say major changes to the system are needed to avoid a deficit of well over £200 million in the next two years.
Proposals also include keeping people out of hospital wherever possible.
From now until September there will be opportunities for staff, clinicians and local people to get involved in developing options for consultation. Consultation on options for proposed changes is likely in the autumn.
