Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in which a driver failed to stop.
A blue Vauxhall Corsa and a black Ford Fiesta were in collision on the southbound carriageway of Three Mile Hill, Chelmsford, shortly after 5.25pm on Monday June 20.
The Vauxhall left the road and rolled several times into trees and shrubs. The four occupants managed to get out of the car and were taken to hospital. One, a 16-year-old girl from Chelmsford, suffered a fractured collarbone.
The Fiesta failed to stop at the scene and police are appealing for witnesses or information to contact Pc Alan Lamb at Stanway Roads Policing Unit on 101.
