Two men have died following a crash on the A12 in Essex.
Police were called to the northbound carriageway at Ingatestone shortly before 11.30pm on Saturday night. (November 12.)
A black BMW had left the road and had hit a tree.
Officers, the ambulance service, air ambulance and fire service attended the scene but two of the three men inside the car were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge with life threatening injuries.
All three men are aged in their 20s and from London.
The road was closed until about 7.15am yesterday morning (Sunday November 13) while investigation work was carried out.
