Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a man in Ongar.
A 19-year-old from Brentwood suffered facial injuries after being assaulted in High Street, near the Tesco Express petrol station forecourt, at about 4.50pm on Tuesday, November 22.
He suffered two cuts to his face and was sprayed with a noxious substance, believed to be CS gas.
He suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Two 15-year-old boys from Ongar were arrested yesterday, Thursday November 24 on suspicion of GBH.
They have been released on bail until November 27, pending further enquiries.
