Police are appealing for information to find a tortoise that was stolen from a farm in Castle Lane, Hadleigh, on Monday, April 10.
Tommy, a nine year old Hermann tortoise, was taken from The Salvation Army’s rare breed centre during the centre’s opening hours between 10am and 4pm. He is described as being about eight inches long and he is microchipped.
Centre manager Emma Sayer said: “Tommy was last seen during a birthday party at the centre and was discovered missing at the end of the day.
“Tommy was one of three tortoises at the centre and we would like to reunite him with his two female companions.”
