A man’s been jailed after police found a samurai sword in his car in Loughton.
Scott Davey was sentenced to six weeks at Chelmsford Magistrate’s Court yesterday, for possessing an offensive weapon.
He was ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 in costs.
It’s part of Operation Sceptre – where Police and Crimestoppers are targeting knife crime.
