People from across Essex are being invited to a regional volunteering day being run by the NSPCC.
Existing and potential supporters can find out more about the charity’s work at Cambridge University next Thursday.
Highlights of the day include a ‘Speak out, Stay Safe’ NSPCC Schools Service assembly, which teaches primary school children to recognise and report abuse; a talk about Childline and the services it provides for children and young people; and opportunities to speak to NSPCC representatives about how we work with volunteers to protect children.
