An investigaiton’s iunderway into a fatal crash – which led to the Pitsea flyover being closed for much of yesterday.
The collision involved an HGV, a tractor and a van and has led to the closure of both carriageways on the Pitsea flyover.
The tractor driver was airlifted to Royal London Hospital but died shortly after arrival. He is believed to be from the Colchester area and his family has been informed.
