Sometimes it’s easy to take scientific and medical advancement for granted. Ok sure, it’s cool that we can cure all these diseases and solve all these problems, but until you see what a difference these advances make to ordinary people’s lives, it’s easy to underestimate how important they are.
Well Sarah Churman has shown us just how much one medical advancement meant to her. Despite being born deaf, a little implant in her ear allowed Sarah to hear her own voice for the first time after 29 years. Suffice to say, things get pretty emotional.
