An 80-year-old woman, involved in a crash on Southend seafront, has died.
The woman, who along with a man in his 80s, was taken to the Royal London Hospital following the collision at around 3pm on Thursday (February 11), died the following evening.
The man remains in hospital.
Police are continuing to investigate why the car they wer ein smashed nito a lamp post.
They’re also appealling for any witnesses who have not already spoken to an officer to contact them on 101.
Meanwhile, four people have been cut free after the car they were in came off the M11 at Harlow and ended up in a ditch.
A dog inside the car was also freed.
