Police have made a further arrest in connection with a murder investigation in Southend.
Officers were called at 2.15pm on Saturday February 13 with reports a 19-year-old man from London had been found injured in Napier Avenue.
He had a stab wound to his chest and was taken to hospital, where he died on Wednesday February 17.
Elisha Francois, 25, unemployed, of York Road, Southend, was arrested yesterday morning, Tuesday March 1, and charged today with perverting the course of justice.
She has appeared at Southend Magistrates Court today.
Two men have already been charged in connection with this investigation and are currently before the courts.
