Colchester United have finally won a match.
The U’s scored their first victory since October last night, 2-1 at play-off hopefuls Bradford.
But, they did it the hard way, coming from behind to take three valuable points in their battle for survival.
Darren Ambrose got both goals.
There were two goals in the last five minutes as Southend United salvaged a draw at home to second bottom Crewe.
The visitors went ahead on 86 minutes but Jack Payne’s penalty conversion deep into added time saw Blues equalise.
The result leaves Phil Brown’s men a point outside the play-off places.
In League Two, Dagenham & Redbridge polayed out a goalless draw at Notts County.
In the National League, Braintree beat Kidderminster 2-1.
