A teenager has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Braintree.
The 16-year-old boy from Witham was arrested yesterday, Sunday April 10, on suspicion of GBH and making threats to kill.
He was released on bail until June 19, pending further enquiries.
A 25-year-old man from Braintree was assaulted and stabbed in the back and hip at King George s Playing Field in Dunstable Drive shortly before 6pm on Saturday April 9.
He was airlifted to Addenbrooke s Hospital in Cambridge, where he remains in a stable condition.
