Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was found injured in Walton High Street just after 9.15pm last night, Monday, May 9.
A 26-year-old man attended the Premier shop in the High Street with a puncture wound to his abdomen. He was taken to hospital for treatment by the ambulance service. His injury is not life threatening.Officers are trying to establish a motive for the incident and are searching for the suspect.
A 25-year-old man from Walton was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent but later released without charge.
