Two Essex men have been banned from driving after being caught drag racing down a public road.
Ryan Couling from Leigh and Dean Craddock who’s from Vange were caught by officers last October.
They were drag-racing a BMW and an Audi on Southfields Industrial Park in Laindon.
The charge – racing on a public highway – carries higher penalties than speeding or careless driving because of the greater danger.
Both men must also pay fines and costs of £1,000 each.
