Police investigating a road collision where a cyclist died are tryign to trace the operator of a drone that was flying in the area at the time.
The collision happened shortly before 6pm on southbound carriageway of the A133 at Weeley on Sunday (June 12.)
The cyclist, a man aged in his 40s, and from Clacton, suffered serious head injuries following a collision with a white Ford Transit van. He was taken to hospital but died at 8.45pm.
Officers believe a drone may have been flying over the scene and would like to view its footage.
They would also like to speak to anyone who may have overtaken the cyclist prior to the collision or anyone driving the other way that may have seen him beforehand.
