It’s pretty rare we get sun here in Britain, and ever more rare it lasts more than a day.
Once the big fiery ball does appear though, we all go a bit mad for it. Temperatures only need to hit double figures before you see sunglasses and shorts.
Not everyone expected the British sun to be quite so sunny. Some people have come away from the great weather looking like lobsters. They also took to social media to moan.

After checking the NHS website, they’ve recommended the following to prevent sunburn…
Spend time in the shade when the sun is strongest. In the UK, this is between 11am and 3pm from March to October. Make sure you:
spend time in the shade between 11am and 3pm
make sure you never burn
cover up with suitable clothing and sunglasses
take extra care with children
use at least factor 15 sunscreen
Remember to wear sunscreen, and for more safety tips visit the NHS Choices website.
