Maldon District Council’s planning something special to attract people to Burnham-on-Crouch.
Twenty thousand pounds has been set aside for improvements to Riverside Park – with ideas from the public encouraged.
Entries close on Sunday.
You can submit your idea by completing the following e-questionnaire – https://maldon.firmstep.com/default.aspx/RenderForm/?F.Name=MiwtxKzPuQQ&HideToolbar=1
Or go to www.maldon.gov.uk/consultations
Paper copies of the questionnaire are available from the Council Offices and Tourist Information Centres.
Your idea should be deliverable for around £20,000, which should include installation, any operational or maintenance costs (for the next few years). It should be a fairly permanent attraction and also promote the area to visitors, particularly the coastal access and connection with Wallasea Island, London and other destinations in the Maldon District.
