Three people have appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court in connection with a firearms incident in Harlow on Friday.
Armed officers were called to Post Office Walk at 3.20 on Friday afternoon, after members of the public say they saw a firearm during an argument between a group of people.
Three men were found at the scene to be carrying weapons – two knives and a handgun.
Police charged 23 year-old Jamil Khan from Sorbus Road in Broxbourne, with possession of firearms offences.
The other two men were charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
