People in Essex are being encouraged to be open about mental health – as part of Time To Talk Day.
It’s part of Time To Change, a growing social movement changing how we all think and act about mental health.
“Still too many people are made to feel ashamed or isolated because they have a mental health problem but we’re here to change that.”
Russel Stilwell is the managing director of RSE Building services and is looking to raise awareness in order to get rid of the stigma that can come with mental health.
He’s told Radio Essex why he’s so passionate about his experience working in the construction industry.
“It’s such a male dominated industry and I believe that is causing a number of people inside it to suffer from mental health problems.”
