A consultation`s underway on the future of Chelmsford.
The Local Plan identifies how many homes, jobs and businesses are being planned for – and where they`ll be up to 2036 – along with things like where children will go to school, where people will work, and how they`ll get around.
The City Council is also consulting on draft planning policies which will be used to determine future planning applications.
People can comment on the proposals online and also see them at a number of drop in exhibitions starting from today.
