Six men have been arrested during road policing operations in Southend.
Officers carried out operations in London Road and Southchurch Avenue on Wednesday, May 30, and Thursday, May 31.
Douglas Gowen, 64, unemployed, of no fixed address was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
Christopher Derochefort, 51, unemployed, Anson Chase, Shoeburyness, was charged with failing to comply with a community protection notice.
A 34-year-old from Westcliff and a 22-year-old from Southend have been released under investigation on suspicion of driving under the influence.
A 27-year-old man from Benfleet has been released under investigation on suspicion of driving while disqualified, drug driving and possession of drugs and a 21-year-old man from Mitcham has been released under investigation on possession of class A drugs with intent to supply and possession of class B drugs.
In total 127 people were found not wearing seatbelts and 25 drivers using a mobile phone, 21 people without insurance, licence or MOT. 15 vehicles were also seized.
