A man who stabbed another during a road rage incident in Rochford has been jailed.
The victim pulled up behind another car on West Street on the afternoon of Monday 30th July – and beeped his horn to try and get past.
They travelled in convoy as far as the roundabout connecting Hall Road and Cherry Orchard Way where they came out side by side – there Max Marchant began shouting at the man – before getting out, walking round and knifing him in the chest through his car window.
The man was then airlifted to hospital in London.
Marchant’s been sentenced to six years in prison.
