A woman from Laindon’s been fined after flytipping on a public footpath
Gemma Bayly dumped black bags, recycling bags and a children’s playhouse on a street between Orchid Place and Primula Court
Magistrates ordered the 35-year-old to pay a £200 fine, as well as costs of £200 and a victim surcharge of £30
Councillor Kevin Blake, Chairman of the Leisure, Culture and Environment Committee, said: “We are committed to ensuring those who fly-tip are held to account, which is why we expanded our Street Scene Enforcement and Education Team by two officers.
We have also invested £10,000 into a CCTV trial to target areas where the largest and most frequent fly-tips take place, ensuring we have the evidence to identify and prosecute perpetrators.”
