A man who assaulted two police officers inside Southend police station has been jailed for three years.


A man who assaulted two police officers inside Southend police station as they tried to arrest him for an outstanding warrant has been jailed for three years.

26-year-old Sam Langley, 26, of Harrington Road had gone to the station last August as part of his parole conditions.

As officers went to arrest him Langley punched two officers and spat at another leading to him having to have a spit guard placed over his head.
