A 25-year-old man has been shot dead in southwest London.
Emergency crews were called to reports of gunfire on Willington Road in Clapham shortly before 10pm on Monday.
The victim died at the scene. His family are being supported by specialist officers.
The Metropolitan Police said a second man attended hospital with a gunshot wound shortly after the shooting.
The 22-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in hospital, the force added.
Detective Chief Superintendent Emma Bond, Central South Borough Commander, said the force understands the incident "will cause concern within the local community and an increased police presence will remain in the area throughout the day".
"Our thoughts remain with the victim's family for their tragic loss," she added.
"Officers have arrested a man on suspicion of murder, and we are working tirelessly to establish what happened."
