The counties only independent commercial station has added 16% more listeners according to the latest RAJAR figures.  The new industry stats show the station is one of the few to buck the trend locally and nationally of losing listeners.   

Regaining their crown as the most popular breakfast show broadcast from the county are radio legends Martin & Su.  After twenty-two years on air together, the duo continues to bring people to their long running breakfast show – adding an incredible 10,000 listeners over the last quarter.   

Comedians Ross and John who take the breakfast reigns over the weekend saw their listenership grow by nine thousand.  

Podcasters and best mates Chris and Scott, the stations Drive Time duo have seen their loyal band of listeners stay for longer – with an increase of listening hours of just over 27,000.   

The news has been welcomed by Programme Director, Chris Brooks who told reporters “these figures are great and show just how hard the team work, I’m over the moon to see their efforts pay off”.
